- We guarantee to provide our service at today's prices, regardless of when the funeral may be needed
- You choose what kind of funeral you would like, instead of your family and friends having to guess. You can choose a set plan or we can tailor every detail exactly as you want it.
- Total security - your funeral payments are placed in the Funeral Planning Trust with HSBC Trust Company (UK) Limited as custodian trustee.
- The service will be provided by Leadbetter & Murphy Limited, a local firm with an established reputation for quality of service. If you move away you can transfer your plan through a network of professional firms across the UK.
- Your relatives will be spared a financial burden, at what could be a difficult and distressing time for them.
- Your plan can be purchased with a once-only payment or by installments, whichever suits you best.
- There is no age limit and there are no questions about your health.
- You can purchase a plan by post or we can visit you to discuss your particular wishes - whichever you choose.
- Flexibility - the plan can be amended if you change your mind about the funeral later.
Funeral Pre-payment Plans
The Avon
This plan provides all the features of the very best English funeral, including a solid oak coffin.
- Guidance on all aspects of the funeral and registration of the death.
- Removal of the deceased from within 30 miles of our premises at any time of day or night.
- Care of the deceased in accordance with the wishes of the family, as well as facilities for viewing in our Chapel of Rest.
- A craftsman made coffin of solid oak with paneled sides, a double-raised lid and superior furnishings.
- Making all the necessary arrangements and providing staff for the funeral.
- Taking the coffin into church the evening before the funeral, if required.
- Supply of a hearse and bearers with two limousines (a reduction is available if you only require one).
- The cortege can leave from a private address prior to the funeral service at a local church, followed by committal at the local crematorium, churchyard or cemetery.
- Listing floral tributes and/or charitable donations.
- Complimentary "thank you" cards.
- A contribution of £600 towards disbursement costs such as crematorium, church or cemetery fees (please see notes below).
The Mersey
This plan is for those who require a traditional funeral, including a high quality veneered coffin.
- Guidance on all aspects of the funeral and registration of the death.
- Removal of the deceased from within 30 miles of our premises at any time of day or night.
- Care of the deceased in accordance with the wishes of the family, as well as facilities for viewing in our Chapel of Rest.
- A high quality veneered coffin with a raised lid and superior furnishings.
- Making all the necessary arrangements and providing staff for the funeral.
- Supply of a hearse and bearers with two limousines (a reduction is available if you only require one).
- The cortege can leave from a private address prior to the funeral service at a local church, followed by committal at the local crematorium, churchyard or cemetery.
- Listing floral tributes and/or charitable donations.
- Complimentary "thank you" cards.
- A contribution of £600 towards disbursement costs such as crematorium, church or cemetery fees (please see notes below).
The Severn
This is an economical funeral but allows for the usual customs.
- Guidance on all aspects of the funeral and registration of the death.
- Removal of the deceased from within 30 miles of our premises at any time of day or night.
- Care of the deceased in accordance with the wishes of the family, as well as facilities for viewing in our Chapel of Rest.
- A plain wood veneered coffin with standard furnishings.
- Making all the necessary arrangements and providing staff for the funeral.
- Supply of a hearse and bearers with one limousine.
- The cortege can leave from a private address prior to the funeral service at a local church, followed by committal at the local crematorium, churchyard or cemetery.
- Listing floral tributes and/or charitable donations.
- A contribution of £600 towards disbursement costs such as crematorium, church or cemetery fees (please see notes below).
The Simple
This plan cover only the essential services and fees for as simple funeral.
- Guidance on all aspects of the funeral and registration of the death.
- Removal of the deceased from within 30 miles of our premises during normal office hours.
- Care of the deceased (facilities for viewing are not included).
- A basic coffin.
- Making all the necessary arrangements and providing staff for the funeral service.
- Supply of a hearse and bearers to meet the family at the nearest crematorium or cemetery. No procession from the house or service in church is included in this plan.
- A contribution of £600 towards disbursement costs such as crematorium, church or cemetery fees (please see notes below).
Notes
Your Special Wishes. If none of these plans are suitable we can prepare a personalised plan just for you, to allow for whatever services you require.
Disbursements. A contribution towards other expenses, such as burial or cremation fees, doctors' fees and ministers' fee (known as "disbursements") is included in each plan. You can include more or less for disbursements if you wish and adjust the plan price accordingly. We strongly recommend that you discuss your requirements with us so that the right amount is included.
Plan Prices. The prices will be revised from time to time but there will be no price increase once you have purchased the plan.
